I hold a master’s degree in clinical services psychology and a master’s degree in mental health counseling.
I have experience with clients with
depression, generalized and social anxiety, substance abuse/addiction, individuals who have been physically abused, and a range of other situations and conditions. I’ve worked with people
from adolescent-aged to late-stage adulthood.
One of the most important aspects of therapy for me is meeting you where you are at. This means addressing what is troubling you specifically, whether it be unresolved issues from the past, challenges of the present, or addressing how to become the best version of yourself in the future as you envision it. I hope to work together with individuals to help guide them along a path towards a life and self they can enjoy and understand.
I’m a Mental Health Counselor-LP dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and adults build healthier relationships with themselves and the world around them. I work closely with individuals struggling with anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, and personality disorders. My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and person-centered, depending on client need and desire. I use an integrative approach, incorporating both DBT (Dialectic Behavioral Therapy) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) based methodologies and my focus is on identifying and transforming negative thought patterns and ineffective behaviors that contribute to low self -worth and mental health struggles. I believe in educating individuals with effective, evidence-based, tools and techniques and empowering them to develop and incorporate the internal resources and coping skills to overcome challenges.
