I am committed to helping people who want and desire help. Therapy is the first step into self-awareness and growth development. My ultimate goal when counseling is to create a healing and safe space for my client.I grew up in a Middle Eastern Muslim family. This has helped me gain a sense of familial and cultural dynamics and how to navigate two different worlds. I am a strong advocate of immigration. My work experience consists of working with adults with mental disabilities and youth. My life and work experience helped me gain an understanding of the importance of being judgement free and accepting with anyone.I am currently a student at Long Island University pursuing a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling. I am a strong mental health advocate and always looking for new ways to contribute to the field. I’m constantly learning and finding new ways to improve the therapy experience for all.
