I am a Mental Health Counselor-LP. I have experience in working with individuals with severe mental health disorders such as Bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression and substance abuse disorders. My experience includes working with children, adolescents and adults. I have experience with individuals in displacement, court mandated care, community residence, post-hospitalization care and family counseling. My counseling approach is unique to each individual, working towards building a strong foundation of trust and support, setting goals and identifying coping strategies to navigate everyday life experiences. My goal is to create a judgement free environment as well as foster daily practices geared towards a healthy lifestyle.
I hold a master’s degree in clinical services psychology and am expecting to graduate with my master’s in mental health counseling in the summer of 2023.
I have experience with clients with
depression, generalized and social anxiety, substance abuse/addiction, individuals who have been physically abused, and a range of other situations and conditions. I’ve worked with people
from adolescent-aged to late-stage adulthood.
One of the most important aspects of therapy for me is meeting you where you are at. This means addressing what is troubling you specifically, whether it be unresolved issues from the past, challenges of the present, or addressing how to become the best version of yourself in the future as you envision it. I hope to work together with individuals to help guide them along a path towards a life and self they can enjoy and understand.
